The 2009 regular season is now over, so what better time to start a new baseball blog, right? Luckily, we've got some exciting playoff baseball ahead, plus the off-season is always ripe with intrigue.
Welcome to Besball Talk, a baseball blog by a big fan and a writer of stuff and things. For awhile I wrote a BT column on my personal blog. It was on and off, but very fun to do. With this blog, I'm hoping to make it more of a regular part of my diet.
Why? Simply because I have opinions that I want to share on the game I love. Really, that's all I've got for now. The proof will be in the puddin'. I'll be curious to hear your comments.
Please note...the blog style will be tweaked as we go along. I just wanted to start it up in time for the playoffs.

Born, bred, and still proudly residing in Brooklyn, NY, Sal Cipriano is a professional writer and comic book letterer. He was educated at NYC's School of Visual Arts, and along the way has honed his skills, knowledge, and integrity as (amongst other things) a publisher, photographer, and manager. Sal's published creations include The Adventures of Bio Boy, Vengeance of The Vapor, and The Hill. Currently, he is a full time letterer, a writer of both fact and fiction at various websites, and one proud Yankee fan.
SEUNG LEE
Seung Lee is, in particular order: A Korean American immigrant who shares the same name as the 1st baseman of the Yomiuri Giants; a Mets fan who doesn't hate the Yankees, but refuses to spend money on Yankee paraphernalia; a proud dad and an elementary science teacher. Lee has a long list of degrees and awards that are only of interest to someone related to him, except a few of those virtual fantasy baseball trophies. He runs approximately a dozen fantasy baseball teams concurrently and his baseball/softball season starts in January. He cannot be found on Twitter, Facebook, or discussing any other professional sports.

The starting pitchers were Dwight Gooden and Nolan Ryan, and the Mets won in 12 innings. Two weeks later they were world champions. Since then, he's watched incompetent general managers and overpaid free agent busts come and go, and more than once, the Mets have made him throw up inside his brain. He exists on this blog for statistical analysis, and to provide a grumpy counterpoint to Sal and Seung's cheerful dispositions.
